Dreadfully strong (though somewhat forgetful and easily sidetracked), he seems to enjoy making pitiful specimens of his opponents/victims just before killing them. Adolfo serves Othello in claiming natural monuments, such as Yggdrasil (his current assignment), though only allows himself to be used in the hope that Othello will help him get over something called the Chaos Hump...
In the scuffle for Yggdrasil, Adolfo was utterly defeated by Gaur and impaled by the force of his Stampede Fist. It is unclear whether he will survive.

A minotaur of the bison variety, Gaur is dedicated to protecting Yggdrasil from those who would try to steal its fruit (including the annoyingly persistent Kedamono). Though sworn to guard the great tree, he himself partook of the fruit in order to become a super-beast. Unfortunately, being preoccupied with foreboding feelings, coupled with Kedamono's antics, left him caught unawares as Adolfo slunk in to do his master's bidding. After a violent confrontation, he defeated Adolfo and sought to challenge Othello, who made short work of him. Deciding death was too good for Gaur, Othello employed the service of someone known only as "Reaper" to provide the alternative means...

The lively star of the show. One who doesn't know when to quit, Kedamono has been trying to steal the fruit of the World Tree for the last seven years of his life, much to the chagrin of its guardian, Gaur. As they say, every Vulfpacht has his day, and the young lad had his in finally being successful in stealing the fabled fruit, that which makes one a superbeast and live for 500 years. In his excitement, he devoured the fruit and thought it a good idea to test his new powers against Adolfo. Unfortunately, he discovered too late that the fruit took a full eight hours to digest and wouldn't have any effect until then, and found himself mortally wounded by Adolfo soon after. Thanks to a quick rescue and a rather unique makeshift patch, courtesy of Gaur, Kedamono survived to become a superbeast. He works to test his new powers, though with limited success.

The self-proclaimed ruler of the Forested Continent. Although he resembles a giant bat, Othello is actually a vampire, but reverts to a bat-like form at night. Thinking that everything on the continent is his property, he becomes mildly irritated when Gaur seemingly kills Adolfo, but delivers punishment with ease. It's not clear what he has to gain in claiming natural monuments such as Yggdrasil. Perhaps there's more to this than meets the eye...

The unquestionably handsome leader of the Hunds Vulfpachts. Hyde became chieftain after the untimely death of his father one season ago (in the Vulfpacht system of government, the chieftain is determined by succession, regardless of gender). His zero-tolerance policy of threats to his village has made him a widely respected man across the Central region of the Forested Continent.

Hyde's second-in-command and childhood friend. Unlike most of the villagers, she takes Kedamono's antics in stride and sometimes even joins him in some mild pranking. Minerva's preferred weapons are sais and chain-sickles. She lost her left eye in a training accident as a child.

The head of the Zapatos gang. His teeth are terribly stained due to the ridiculous amount of cigars he smokes per day. Due to a genetic deformity, his wings are underdeveloped and too small for flight. His considerable size and tendency to lash out without warning make up for this.

Proficient in fighting with firesticks (essentially, slinging a super-concentrated chemical capsule), he is significantly less mouthy than the other three managers, so much so that one might wonder if he is a mute. Even so, he is just as cruel as every one of his peers.
